Introducing the Department

This department has been accepting PhD students in the field of Health in Disaster and Emergencies since 2015 in the Faculty of Management and Medical Informatics.

Admission of master's degree students in this field is underway for the future.

The PhD in Health in Disaster and Emergencies is an interdisciplinary curriculum containing a coordinated collection of theoretical, practical, and research activities.

This field aims to recognize, assess and analyze disasters risk, identify factors affecting hazard incidence and aggravation, community vulnerability and risk factors, and use new research approaches and

technologies to reduce the incidence of different hazards, health effects, human suffering and community disaster impact.
