• Supervising all of the educational and research activities at the department

• Providing the executive, educational, research and service programs before the beginning of each semester.

• Evaluating the annual work of the department members and reporting them to the head of the department.

• Providing the curriculum for each semester by collaborating with other faculty members

• Revising the programs according to the state-of-the-art technologies and developed changes then submitting them to the relevant authorities.

• Coordinating educational and research activities.

• Supervising and controlling not only the presentation of the lessons but also the choice of the textbooks by the scientific board.

• Scientific support for valuable research proposals, provided by the faculty colleagues.

• Regular organization of the educational, research and executive meetings with faculty members.
